Andrew County Release Mugshots

The mugshot of a released Andrew County inmate is a booking record tied to one custody event, not a current portrait or proof of a person’s present status. An Andrew County booking photo can remain with the official record after the person leaves the jail, but each source has its own window and access rules. The best search begins with the Sheriff’s release material, then moves to a focused records request or the correct state source. News and copied images may lack context or stay online after official records change. No gallery is hosted here; the goal is to reach the government record and interpret it with care.

Andrew County Mugshot Records

A mugshot, also called a booking photograph, documents a person’s appearance during intake. The Andrew County Sheriff’s released profile connects the image to a name, booking number, booking and release times, listed charges, bond, age, gender, race, and arresting agency. That context matters. A photo alone does not show why custody began, how the case ended, why the person left, or whether another agency took custody.

Missouri law does not make every internal jail item automatically open. RSMo 610.100 governs law-enforcement records, while active investigations and records involving safety, confidential sources, victims, juveniles, sealed matters, and other protected facts may be closed or redacted. A request can ask for the open, segregable portion and a written statutory basis for a denial. It should not promise that every Andrew County booking photo must be released.

Release also changes the meaning of the record. The photograph stays tied to the arrest and booking even after a jail exit. It does not become a new release-day image, and it does not prove current custody. Match it to the official booking number and event dates before treating it as the photograph of the person being sought. The Andrew County released inmate records route can then confirm the exit and later custody trail.

Andrew County Mugshot Sources

Andrew County has one unusually direct photo route: the Sheriff’s official rolling released feed. Other channels serve older jail bookings, state-prison custody, limited registry purposes, or a specific public event. Their coverage should not be blended.

No official Andrew County Sheriff mobile app was identified in the July 2026 Sheriff-site, App Store, and Google Play sweep. The Sheriff does publish press releases, but no routine mugshot or released-person photo series was established. Those negative findings prevent two common errors: inventing an app route and implying that a press page is a complete release-photo archive.

Note: A county booking image and a MODOC offender image document different custody events and should not be presented as interchangeable.

Andrew County’s 48-Hour Mugshots

The official Andrew County 48 Hour Release feed is the strongest local route for a recent booking photo. It publishes the image beside each released record and keeps a profile link. Search controls allow name filtering and newest or oldest sorting. The record supplies the exact release timestamp, booking timestamp, booking number, listed charges, and bond. The profile adds personal descriptors and the arresting agency, which can help distinguish people with similar names.

The feed is a rolling view, not a permanent photo archive. Its page states the forty-eight-hour coverage, but the Sheriff does not state an update cadence or long-term retention schedule. A person released just outside that window can disappear from the public list even though the Sheriff still holds a booking record. The Andrew County 24-hour releases are a transparent time subset of this same source, not a separate Sheriff-published feed.

Read the image with the event record. A release timestamp proves departure from the Andrew County Detention Center at that shown time. It does not reveal the release reason, destination, transfer agency, court case number, or whether all holds cleared. The arresting-agency field is especially important because the Andrew County Jail also houses people for Savannah, Country Club Village, nearby counties, Kansas agencies, and other governments.

After Andrew County Mugshots Expire

The Andrew County released feed’s direct photo-and-profile pairing makes it more reliable than a copied image with no booking context. Yet the official public window is brief. Once a record rolls off, do not treat an old search-engine copy as the county’s current publication. Note the person’s name, booking number, and dates while the record is available, then use those identifiers in a focused Sheriff request.

This local limit is also why screenshots must be handled with care. A saved roster view captures what the public feed showed at one time. It cannot establish a permanent Andrew County photo archive, and it should not be used to imply that charges, bond, or custody status stayed the same. The Sheriff’s profile warns that charges and bail can change after court appearances. A later court entry, corrected booking record, or expungement order may supply the current official context.

The correct fallback after forty-eight hours is the agency that created the booking record. That path preserves the image’s source, the event identifiers, and any lawful redactions. It also gives the custodian a chance to distinguish a record that remains open from one closed by statute or court order.

Note: Once the rolling feed expires, request the Andrew County image by booking event instead of trusting an undated copy.

Request an Andrew County Booking Photo

No Sheriff-specific online Sunshine form, named Sheriff records custodian, or Sheriff fee schedule was found. Contact the Andrew County Sheriff at 400 East Main Street, Savannah, Missouri 64485, or call 816-324-4114. Posted administrative office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The online contact form warns that email is not monitored around the clock and should not carry confidential or sensitive material. Call before sending personal identifiers.

  1. Identify the person by full name and useful name variants. Add date of birth only when appropriate and through a safe channel.
  2. Give the booking number, booking date, release date, and a narrow date range when known. These details reduce same-name mistakes and search time.
  3. Ask for the booking or intake photograph in its available electronic format and identify the related booking event.
  4. Request the open, segregable portions. If anything is withheld, ask for written grounds that cite the specific statute.
  5. Ask for native electronic delivery and a cost estimate before charges exceed an amount you set. Do not assume the Prosecuting Attorney’s separate fee schedule applies to the Sheriff.

Under RSMo 610.023, the records custodian must act as soon as possible and no later than the end of the third business day. That is a response deadline, not an absolute production date. When immediate access is not possible, the custodian must give a detailed reason and the earliest place, time, and date the record will be available.

RSMo 610.026 permits lawful copy, media, staff, research, or programming costs depending on the format. Prepayment and estimates may apply. A narrow electronic request is more useful than a demand for every record about a person because it tells the Andrew County custodian exactly which image and booking event are sought.

Missouri Photos After State Transfer

If an Andrew County detainee entered state prison, the county booking photo and MODOC offender image record separate intake events. Search the official MODOC Offender Search for an active person. The portal covers active incarceration, probation, and parole, includes aliases in name searches, and requires CAPTCHA. It expressly excludes discharged offenders, so an absent result is not proof that no photograph or historical state record exists. For an older or discharged state case, use MODOC’s Sunshine request channel. Include the full name, DOC ID, date of birth when appropriate, cause number, and sentence county. Ask for the available offender photograph with enough record data to identify the custody event. A state image should not be relabeled as the Andrew County booking photo.

A registry photograph is narrower still. The Missouri State Highway Patrol registry covers people subject to sex-offender registration law and can show statuses such as compliant, non-compliant, pending registration, absconder, incarcerated, or moved out of state. It is not a general released-inmate search and does not prove an exact jail exit.

The official Highway Patrol page explains the registry’s limited purpose and access route.

Copied Andrew County Mugshots

Commercial aggregators and news pages may preserve an Andrew County booking image after the Sheriff’s rolling record expires. They are not the preferred source. A copied page may omit the booking number, retain an old charge, mix people with the same name, or fail to reflect a correction or expungement. No commercial mugshot publisher, data broker, or removal service is linked here.

Local or regional news can corroborate a specific event when a report identifies the originating agency and case. It still does not replace the Sheriff’s exact release timestamp or the court’s disposition. Likewise, the Sheriff’s own press release may contain an image for a particular public event, but the research did not establish routine Andrew County publication of release photos through press releases.

A useful verification chain is short: locate the copied image, identify its claimed date and agency, find the matching official booking or court record, and confirm the current public status with the record custodian. If the official record is closed, do not reconstruct it from stale copies as though the government still publishes it.

Note: A search result can preserve an old caption even after the originating Andrew County record changes or closes.

Andrew County Mugshot Removal Law

RSMo 407.1150 targets a specific commercial practice. It prohibits a publisher or disseminator from soliciting or accepting payment from the photographed person to remove or correct a booking photograph or criminal-record information. A knowing violation is a Class A misdemeanor. The law also creates a civil remedy of at least $10,000, or actual and punitive damages when applicable, plus fees and costs. It is not a blanket ban on an official agency releasing or publishing a booking photo. The official statute is the source for Missouri’s booking-photo pay-to-remove prohibition.

The rule protects against paid removal demands but does not create automatic deletion from every official or copied source.

Expungement is a different process. RSMo 610.140 places a petition in the charging or convicting court and excludes categories named in the statute, including Class A felonies, dangerous felonies, registrable sex offenses, and offenses involving death. An order closes covered records under RSMo 610.120 and makes court records confidential. The practical step is to provide the order to each source that still publishes the affected record and ask how its update process applies.

Public-record and FCRA limit: This privately run site is not a consumer reporting agency. Mugshot data may not be used for credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or any other FCRA-covered purpose.

Do not pay a publisher to remove or correct an Andrew County mugshot. Preserve the demand, compare it with Missouri law, and seek legal advice or the proper enforcement channel if needed. For an official source, use the court order and the agency’s records process rather than a commercial removal service.
