Andrew County VINE Coverage
The public Missouri route is Missouri VINELink. It is designed for a search of one person within a participating agency’s feed. The Andrew County research sweep did not find an authoritative participation list or a safely observed local result strong enough to promise that every Andrew County Detention Center event appears. Confirm that the detention center is the reporting agency before treating a match as an Andrew County jail record.
For a county jail event, the Andrew County Sheriff’s official 48-hour release feed remains the primary local source. VINELink is a useful parallel check. For a Missouri prison or post-prison event, use the MODOC active offender search and the separate eligible-victim MOVANS process where it applies. Federal Bureau of Prisons custody is outside VINELink’s scope. A federal or immigration case needs the responsible federal locator or court source.
| Event | First source | Notification layer |
|---|---|---|
| Andrew County jail exit | Sheriff 48-hour feed | Public VINELink if the detention center participates |
| Missouri prison or parole event | MODOC active search | MOVANS for eligible victims |
| Federal custody change | BOP, ICE, USMS, or court source | Not covered by VINELink as a BOP locator |
Note: Agency participation can change, so the reporting agency on the exact record is more useful than an assumed county-wide coverage claim.
Search One Andrew County Inmate
Start from the stable Missouri state page, not from an old result link. The current interface may offer a person or offender search and fields that vary as the service changes. Use the exact legal name and any identifier that the interface accepts. A broad name match is not enough. Compare the agency and public identifying details before opening the record.
- Open Missouri VINELink and choose the current person or offender search.
- Enter the exact first and last name or an offered identifier. Add only accurate narrowing details.
- Review all possible matches. Compare the agency and the available public identity fields.
- Open the one matching record. Read the reporting agency before reading the custody status.
- If Andrew County Detention Center is not the reporting agency, do not label the event an Andrew County jail release.
- Confirm a release or transfer through the agency that supplied the record when the destination matters.
The official Missouri VINELink search is shown in the successful manifest image below.
The image identifies the correct statewide entry point. The result that follows still needs an agency and identity match before it can support a custody conclusion.
Andrew County VINE Release Fields
A VINELink record is an agency-fed event record. Its most useful facts are the person match, reporting custodian, current custody status, and any release or custody-change event the interface provides. The exact fields depend on the participating agency and current display. Do not promise a scheduled date, location, or identifier that is not present on the actual record.
| Field or signal | How to read it |
|---|---|
| Name and offered identifier | Supports the identity match, but should be checked with other public details. |
| Reporting agency | Shows which custodian supplied the event and prevents a false Andrew County attribution. |
| Custody status | Describes the status within that agency’s feed, not every possible custody system. |
| Release event | Shows exit from the reporting custodian; it may be community release or a transfer. |
| Notification option | Links alert registration to the exact matching record and offered delivery methods. |
“Released” is easy to overread. In this setting it proves an exit from the reporting custodian. It does not by itself show that a person returned to the community, finished a sentence, cleared another hold, or completed supervision. Andrew County’s jail houses people for outside governments, so a transfer can follow a physical exit from the Savannah facility.
A current custody result and a released result answer different questions. The first says the reporting agency still treats the person as held within its feed. The second records a custody change from that agency. Neither one explains every later court or corrections event. When the exact time and local booking facts matter, compare VINELink with the Andrew County release profile. When the issue is active parole, probation, or a state prison term, compare it with MODOC instead.
Register Andrew County Release Alerts
Begin registration only after opening the exact matching record. A generic name search can show several people, and an alert tied to the wrong record will not become reliable because the contact information is correct. VINELink may offer phone, text, email, or in-app delivery. The current screen controls which choices are actually available.
- Select the registration or notifications option on the exact record.
- Choose an available delivery method such as phone, text, email, or in-app notice.
- Enter the delivery destination, language, and notification preferences shown by the interface.
- Complete the confirmation, code, or account verification required for that delivery channel.
- For telephone notifications, choose or use the requested PIN. Entering it during the call acknowledges the message and stops repeat calls.
- Keep the jail, MODOC, or court contact because an agency feed may lag.
A telephone PIN should not be described as mandatory for every route. Modern email, text, and app workflows may use a code or account verification instead. Follow the prompt attached to the chosen method. Public VINE customer support is 1-866-277-7477 when the service itself presents a technical problem.
Important: An alert reports the event received from a participating agency. Confirm the event with that agency before relying on its reason or destination.
Andrew County MOVANS Victim Layer
Andrew County has a local connection to a second notification path. The Missouri DPS Andrew County victim-services entry links the county Prosecuting Attorney and Victim Advocate with statewide MOVANS. MOVANS is the Missouri Department of Corrections victim notification system. It is distinct from a public agency-fed VINELink person search and should not be described as open registration to follow any person.
For eligible victims and family categories, MOVANS can provide information about a parole-hearing date, custody location, and scheduled release. It can also issue notices for parole hearings and results, escape, death, release to the community, and clemency events. Registration runs through the MODOC Office of Victim Services and its official form. The Andrew County Prosecuting Attorney and Victim Advocate is at PO Box 377, Savannah, MO 64485, with phone 816-324-3535.
The official MODOC MOVANS FAQ is shown in the manifest image below.
The image represents the corrections-based notification layer. It should be used with the eligibility rules and Office of Victim Services registration process, not as a general Andrew County roster.
Missouri Victim Notification Registration
The official Missouri victim-notification form requests details that help MODOC connect a registrant with the correct matter. Those may include the offender’s name, DOC number, date of birth or Social Security number, docket, county, and offense, along with the registrant’s contact and delivery information. Supply only accurate details and follow the Office of Victim Services eligibility process.

MOVANS notice can add a parole and community-release layer that a county feed does not hold. Yet it does not replace the legal record. A hearing notice is not a release notice, a Board result is not physical departure on that date, and scheduled release can change. Keep the exact event name when saving or relaying a notice.
Note: Public VINELink registration and eligibility-limited MOVANS registration are separate paths even when both involve custody or release notifications.
Andrew County Release Source Check
When VINELink shows no result or a vague event, move to the source that owns the custody record. For an Andrew County jail exit, the Sheriff’s official 48-hour release feed can show the booking profile, photograph, and exact release timestamp while the event remains in its rolling window. A focused Sheriff request is the fallback for an older release. Court records can explain a bond, sentence, dismissal, or later case event, but a court disposition does not give the exact physical exit time.
For an active Missouri corrections relationship, search the MODOC Offender Search. It covers active incarceration, probation, and parole and excludes discharged offenders. A person on active community supervision may appear after prison release. A no-result response does not prove final discharge. MODOC historical Sunshine data or a discharge document is the stronger next source.
Identity discipline matters in both systems. Save the permanent DOC ID, booking number, agency, cause number, and event date when those fields are public. If two records conflict, first check whether they describe different custodians or different points in time. The full Andrew County released-inmate lookup path connects county, state, court, and federal routes without turning one system into a universal search.
Andrew County VINE Check Limits
VINELink depends on a participating agency’s feed. Updates can lag. A missing result may reflect participation, identity fields, timing, or the wrong custody system. It should not be read as proof that a person is free. Likewise, a release event can mean transfer to another jail, MODOC, federal custody, or immigration custody rather than return to the community.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is not covered by VINELink as a locator. A federal matter belongs in the BOP locator, while immigration detention uses the ICE locator and related agency contacts. A person can also leave the Andrew County Detention Center under an outside-government hold. Read the reporting and arresting agencies as routing clues, then check the receiving custodian.
Short publication windows create another limit. The Sheriff feed keeps released profiles in its stated rolling window, while a VINE event depends on the agency feed and notification settings. Neither source is a permanent county release archive. For an older Andrew County event, ask the Sheriff for a focused booking or release record and use the public court case to place the event in its legal timeline.
Alerts are valuable because they reduce the need for constant checks, but they are not certified release records. Preserve the event details, then seek confirmation from the Sheriff, MODOC, court, or other named custodian. That final step separates an agency-fed notice from proof of why the person left and where the person went.
